비움아트®는 종이라는 평면적 한계를 넘어, 절단 행위가 드러내는 선(線, 禪)을 통해 새로운 공간의 구조를 창출한다. 한지는 비움을 드러내기 위한 최초의 매체이며, 가위의 궤적이 남긴 조형적 질서는 특정 매체의 물성에 종속되지 않는다.

2018년 서울미디어시티비엔날레에서 입증된 바와 같이, 비움아트®의 문법은 텍스트와 디지털 미디어를 거쳐 건축적 스케일의 공간 설치로 무한히 확장된다. 이는 모든 물리적 환경 속에서 '비움(Void)'의 실체를 가시화하는 보편적 조형 언어로서 기능한다.

비움아트®•Vium Art™ transcends the planar limitations of paper, creating new spatial structures through the Line (線/禪) revealed by the act of cutting. Hanji is merely the initial medium to reveal emptiness; the formative order left by the scissors' trajectory is not subordinate to the physical properties of any specific medium.

As proven at the 2018 Seoul Mediacity Biennale, the grammar of Vium Art™ expands infinitely through text and digital media and architectural-scale spatial installations. It functions as a universal formative language that visualizes the essence of the 'Void' within all physical environments.
